"The Dean" of Nea Smyrni's souvlaki, now opens in Argyroupoli
Same taste since 1953

It all started in the early 50s when an Armenian, seeing how hard worker was 30-year old Lefteris (orphan since 7 and breadwinner since 15 years old) showed him how to make the real "souvlaki".

Lefteris began selling them in Nea Smyrni Square in a pram-impromptu barbecue and soon found himself with his own shop and fanatic customers in Athens and beyond.
